Dr. Burns is the owner of Canterbury Wellness Centre. She completed her undergraduate degree at Columbia University, and her chiropractic education at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. After many years of private practice at Copp Chiropractic Office, she is now devoting her time to enhancing the health of the people of Sandwich and surrounding communities through weight management with the Ideal Protein weight loss protocol. 


Dr. Kristen Weber is the current owner of Copp Chiropractic Office. She utilized the Ideal Protein weight loss protocol in her own practice before joining Copp Chiropractic, and is well versed in the concepts and implementation of the method. She helps with informational sessions, as well as assessing the need for medical co-management for our clients if Dr. Burns is unavailable.


Michelle Hayward is one of our “founding coaches”. Michelle trained as a medical assistant, and has been a long time staff member at Copp Chiropractic. She has lost 28 pounds on the Ideal Protein protocol, and is well versed in all phases of the diet. She enjoys helping others attain their weight loss goals, and achieve a higher level of wellness.


Janet Glasson is our other “founding coach”. She also trained as a medical assistant, and worked for several physicians before joining the staff of Copp Chiropractic ten years ago. Janet has a special interest in working with folks who have larger amounts of weight to lose.


Joanne Bracken is the face of Canterbury Wellness Centre. She is our receptionist and coach-in-training. She is familiar with all activities and services of the centre, as well as all phases of the diet, and is ready and willing to answer whatever questions you may have.


The Method

There are four phases in the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol. During all four Phases you will receive one-on-one coaching, teaching you how your body gains weight and what you should be eating in order to maintain a balanced weight.
